Reading Facility :
Both professors and students can enjoy a comfortable, distraction-free reading experience thanks to our on-campus reading room, which is open all day.
Book Bank :
For a month, students can check out books and other study aids from our well-stocked library to take home for reference, particularly during test season.
Daily Newspapers :
We display daily newspapers in the college library to make sure that our students and faculty members are informed about events occurring globally. Additionally, we make care to post any news items about the business on the library's notice board so that our students can always see them.
Membership :
All enrolled students at this college are eligible to join the library as members. Each student receives a Library Card upon presenting their Identity Card and First Term Fee Receipt. Nonetheless, the Library Card will remain in the library for the benefit of the students.
An Ex-student is not eligible to become a member of the library. The principal must grant authorisation for such a student to use the library's resources. Extra amenities are provided to students on the merit list.
Use of Books :
Pupils are asked to handle the books carefully. They should not take reference materials out of the library, fold or attempt to remove pages from books and magazines, or mark anything in the books with a pen or pencil. Readers are asked to maintain a calm and serene environment in the library since it is essential for serious study. They ought to abstain from disturbing other people. Anyone causing a disturbance will be immediately removed from the library and dealt with harshly.
Daily Routine :
When the library staff requests it, all students must provide their I-Cards. It is not allowed to bring umbrellas, sticks, raincoats, bags, or other items into the library.
The books will be produced to the readers if they consult the Author Catalogue or Title Catalogue (if the author is unknown), write down the specifics of the books on the claim slip, and turn it in at the counter. After turning in their claim forms, students have an hour to pick up their books. At the counter, library card entries will be made. It is important for patrons to ensure that their card is properly entered for their own benefit.
When returning the books, the same process will be used. For a duration of seven days, the lending department only issues one book at a time.
Re-issue of Books :
On the day indicated on the date slip at the end of the book, the books must be returned to the library. Generally speaking, a book that is returned will not be reissued that same day. If there isn't another claimant, it can be reissued the next day.
Books For Internal Reading :
The Reference Section contains a sizable collection of textbooks and study guides for different tests that are set aside for internal reading. Under no circumstances may books from the Reference Section be removed from the Library; they must be returned the same day.
A fee of Rs. 5 will be applied if the book is not returned that same day. The principal will be informed of the default if the book is not returned the following day. Rather than using the Library Card, the entries will be made in the Reference Issue Register. The student should make sure that entries are cancelled in his presence while returning the book.
