Mr. Shaibaz Rais Shaikh Finance Officer

As the Finance Head of SEMT’s, M.B Harris College of Arts, A.E Kalsekar College of Commerce and Management, Nallasopara (W). My mission is to ensure the financial stability, transparency, and strategic growth of the institution through responsible fiscal planning, effective resource management, and ethical financial practices. I am committed to aligning the financial goals of the college with its broader mission of delivering high-quality hospitality education and shaping future industry leaders.

My core responsibility is to develop and implement sound financial policies that support the sustainable growth of the college, while also enabling investment in academic excellence, infrastructure, and student development initiatives. I aim to maintain the greatest standards of financial accountability and compliance with statutory regulations, ensuring that every rupee is spent with purpose, forethought, and integrity.

I believe that a strong financial basis is crucial for academic innovation, faculty growth, and student achievement. As a result, I collaborate with management, administrative divisions, and outside stakeholders to create budgets, keep an eye on spending, and provide reports that show both financial restraint and a forward-thinking outlook.

Through accurate reporting, strategic planning, and responsible financial management, I intend to contribute significantly to the long-term goal of Kalsekar College as a centre of excellence. I also recognise the importance of financial accessibility for students and actively promote policies that encourage diversity through scholarships, flexible price structures, and funding help.

Above all, I lead with honesty, operate with clarity, and plan with purpose—ensuring that the financial operations of Kalsekar College are not only efficient and sustainable, but also intimately linked with our shared objective of academic distinction and student empowerment.
